I am a mom, a wife, a friend, a clinical social worker, and a photographer. I love the real, the authentic, and the organically beautiful.
My husband (who is very much a part of my business and my team) and I met in Germany. We chose the name "Augenblick" because of our special connection with the language and the country. Augenblick is how you would translate the word "moment" but what I love about German is they say exactly what something is. Directly translated, "augenblick" means "blink of an eye".
In my work as a therapist, I work with people who are struggling to find and connect to their lives. I find that we often wait for our lives to show up like some kind of event. But, life occurs in fleeting moments and we only truly experience these moments when we pay attention. Photography has helped me to pay attention on purpose and to live in the moment.
